Upgrade Komplete 9 from Komplete 8 and allow old projects to open, but save diskspace

    Hi People,

I now have purchased the Komplete 9 Ultimate Upgrade. I would like to install this, but keep any old content so that I can still open older projects in Cubase and Abelton. When I installed Komplete 8 Ultimate I did so but put the library files here :

    F:\Data\Native Instruments\Komplete 8\

Just for the record I also have Komplete 7 in the same path structure : F:\Data\Native Instruments\Komplete 7\

These libraries are huge, and so with this install I would like to try and minimise the footprint size of the install, and retain functionality of the older files so that projects still load that were created before the upgrade.

    My questions are :

    1. Should I install the new Komplete 9 Library to:

    F:\Data\Native Instruments\Komplete 9\

or Keep the old path F:\Data\Native Instruments\Komplete 8\

and then deselect content for products already installed. And/Also should I be deselecting the Programs as well?

It would be nice If Native Instruments considered this as part of their installation package so we didn't have to post on forums etc before each upgrade.. I mean its pretty obvious if we are doing an upgrade that this would be one of our considerations.

I tried to research these issues, but people often just say things like "only install the new content" and do not detail if they have to use the same folder etc.

    Thanks for any help guys!
