Upgrade LE to Pro?

Hello everyone,
I just purchased a Numark Mixtrack Pro which comes with Traktor LE, but I really would like to have the Pro version of the software once I get the unit next week. How much will it cost to upgrade the software? I honestly wasn't able to find this info anywhere

be careful though, I'm not exactly sure about the Mixtrack, but I own a Numark Mixdeck which I use with Traktor LE, and i upgraded to pro 2 last summer. it turned out that though i had bought superior software, Numark didn't currently make a driver that made it compatible with Traktor pro 2, and still hasn't! Either Numark or Traktor aren't very good with keeping their products working together, so its possible that if you purchase an upgrade, you won't be able to use it and won't be able to get your money back and will have to go back to using LE again like me. i don't know about common law, but if you live in europe then according to eu directive (97/7/EC art 6) you have the right to return a product in 7 days. this time however can vary in different countries. for my country it's 14 days for example. there doesn't have to be any reason why you return it - you just test it and if it doesn't work or you don't like the shape or colour of the product then you can just send it back (you pay for shipping) and get a refund.

 

I think that upgrading though really important is not for everyone. You might as well take advantage of what you actually need so that you only make use and pay for the components that you need. It would be such a waste to pay for something that you do not even make use of. Just my two cents worth so that you could be on your way to saving on what could be saved.

 

to check the compatibility of your controller and the pro version, just download the current demo of Traktor Pro. It comes with all setting files for (nearly) every popular controller.

Today, the Pro software version is cheaper than ever, so you can just buy it for (europe) 99,- bugs OR you take a bundle with a soundcard Traktor Audio 2 and get the software for free (if you own a non-built-in-audio-card controller)

 

hi mate, so if i just buy the audio 2 dj soundcard i can use the free software that comes with that to upgrade my currant traktor ddj t1 pioneer edition2 to traktor pro 2 ?

 

I guess yes! You can simply register your version with the new serial at the Native Intrsuments Service Center.
So all you'll not miss any setting or playlist.
