    Hi,

I`m a Komplete 4 user and just got my Guitar Rig 3 Upgrade. Trying to activate it it tells me that I have "no qualifying base product registered".

How can that be? The same "Service Center" tells me that Guitar Rig 2 is registered and activated?

It is happening on my Powermac G5 and my MacBook.

I just upgraded to Logic Studio 8 and I recently installed a new hard drive into my MacBook. But this both should not affect my registrations, should it?

Please has someone upgrading from Komplete 4 had similar problems?
I bought about every product Native Instruments offers and now I am this. I am really quite disappointed.

    Regards,
    Sebus

Also had a similar problem. NI servers seem to have some problems...

Call them and order by phone.

Hi thank you for the reply,

what should I order? I already own all of that and have entered the registration code. But the activation aborts and tells me that I have no qualified product activated which is bull...t.

Their servers don`t seem to be able to compare two identical numbers.
What does that say about their software...? I don`t know.
Spent thousands of Euros on their products and now it doesn`t work!

Tried to call them... no luck - they don`t even have a waiting line. They tell me to call back later. If I`d finally manage to reach them - would they be able to switch me on?

    Regards,
    Sebus

Please look into this. I have the same issue. In my case I upgrade to GR3 successfully from GR2 but got that error when upgrading K2 to K3 on the same machine.

    Hi all,
I had this problem for about a week as well. I sent a few e-mails to NI (of which, over a few things i'm still waiting to hear back from them), and though i've had no response from them directly, I tried the service centre again today, and it worked!

    Huzzah!

Here's hoping it all works out for all others with this problem too! Now I just need to wait to see if I qualify for the grace period update....

Do I understand correctly that you have Komplete 4 then purchased the Guitar Rig 3 update (the single product) and not the Komplete 5 update?

NI may not have the "Komplete 4 qualifies you to upgrade to Guitar Rig 3 individual product" relationship set up in their activation database. When you go to authorize a product (using Service Center), the process looks at a bunch of rules to determine "Yes or No" activation.
