Upgrade Question

    If I purchase an S4 and pay for the Time Code Upgrade, will I be able to use time code with an Audio 8 Sound Card? Or can you only use the Time Code through the S4?

    Welcome to the forum.

    Yeah you are right. If you purchase the timecode upgrade you will be able to use the software with an Audio 4/6/8/10 with control CD/vinyl.

    So basically if I have the license from before for Sratch Pro and S4, I would be able to use it just with Audio 8, turntables, mixer and timecode, without even S4 controller. I wouldn't need to buy upgrade for Scratch Pro also since it would be all one program- Traktor Scratch 2. I hope that doesn't sound confusing Karlos.

    Umm, yeah you will have just one new application if you upgrade to TSP2 with the FREE S4/TSP upgrade for owners of both S4 and TSP1.
    You can use timecode with TSP2 with an Audio 8.

    Will the tsp2 upgrade work with s4 through the tsp2 program being used or through the s4 program being used?

    If you have updated to TP2 or TSP2 you should be using that from now on not the S4 software no matter what controller you use.

    I think he want to know which update to use if he has an S4 and owns Scratch, but i'm not entirely sure of that.
