Upgraded from LE -> DUO, now want PRO! No reaction from support?

    Hi,

    I've already sent an email to support a short time ago, but as I'm not receiving a reply and am really eager to play with Pro, I'll just post my question in here.

    Small background info
    I've bought a Reloop Digital Jockey II (control version) a few months ago. After playing with the combined software I decided to upgrade it. That day I received an email about the Traktor DUO system which seemed fine to buy at that time.

    But after a month or so, I noticed that I couldn't record my mixes and also started to have a desperated need for more decks (as I also bought a AKAI controller for ultimate hot cueing).

    Questions
    Now I check the Native Instrument shop and found out that when I want to upgrade from DUO to PRO, I have to pay the same amount as when I upgraded from LE to PRO. But as I already paid money for the upgrade from LE -> DUO, I shouldn't have to pay that full amount again (in my opinion).

    The pricing is like this:
    TRAKTOR 3 LE -> TRAKTOR DUO: $79,= (I've bought this one)
    TRAKTOR 3 LE -> TRAKTOR PRO: $139,=
    TRAKTOR DUO -> TRAKTOR PRO: $139,=

    (in my case: 3 LE -> DUO -> PRO = $218,= ouch..)

    So I'm feeling stupid buying DUO instead of PRO, but even felt more stupid now I've noticed that upgrading from DUO -> PRO is the same price as from LE -> PRO.

    Isn't there at least a discount for me available, I can imagine to pay $10,= more at the end because of my own stupidity, but paying $60 bucks more seems a bit weird?

    Hopefully NI Sales can help me with this?

    I have the same problem.

    I updraged to traktor pro from Traktor 3, and then on the same day decided to updrage to scratch pro..

    THe problem was that from 3 to scratch and from pro to scratch costs the same, so I ended up paying $79 for nothing.

    They told me their policy does not allow a refund for this sort of mistake.
    On the website is a policy page that explanes what they will refund and what not.

    I don't really know how to feel about it, since it was my mistake. Oh well.

    If that's the way NI takes care of paying customers, I probably need to switch to download a crack instead of being a brave customer...... (are you reading with me NI?....)

    I don't need a refund, but at least a coupon code for a little discount when I'm going to buy PRO now would be a nice way to keep me as a happy customer. Of course it's my own fault, but since companies are there for the customers, the might need to bend the rules a bit sometimes.

    Hopefully support can react with a satisfying answer?

    (by the way, in your case it's even harder, on the same day already deciding to move on. That's not cool.. In my case I didn't buy a new version yet, as I'm not considering paying $79,= more then I should have).

    I don't want to sound like a nancy but stealing is not the answer... If you are truly unhappy you should not use the products at all.

    I will answer your ticket and give you the opportunity that we compensate for this. As you have already written on your ticket, it is this type of upgrade rather an exceptional case. On our sites is already in evidence a) which cost upgrades how much and b) what services/ features they include. I am sure we will clarify it in your senses. We will find a solution for it; It would be in your interest, please answer directly on my mail (ticket) to you.

    Please view of the effects but also that it makes no sense to apply cracks and cracked serials on. And certainly not if you feel gratitude (shown with a ticketnumber etc.). For a short period these versions may indeed serve their purpose BUT at public appearances & production (evidence/ licenses), upgrades and support you don´t have any help. In addition, we lock these serials continuos.

    (p.s. I don't want to use serials/cracks, I did buy the product because I like it so much! And even want to spend more (even want to buy a Maschine, but that doesn't have anything to do with my question:).)
