    some probably know, but for those that dont.... go here...

    bolt.com....

    upload up to a 100mb mp3 file, it plays with unlimited bandwidth, and gives you the code to the mix, which you post on your website. hell, i have a whole mixset website built, just using bolt.com.... completely free. never had a problem. ;)... been my average experience that an hour of music at 128mp3 is about 70mb.... hope some of you find this useful. :)

    Are you affiliated with Bolt or are a user?

    oh no, i'm just a user is all. just discovered it one day, and thought it was cool. sorry, it's not meant to spam or anything, if that's what you mean. i just figured some might like it, since people are always trying to find new places to put mixes on the internet. ;)

    100MB per file is too restricting for me but it sounds like some would find it very useful.

    yeah i know it's restricting to alot. i generally make hour long mixes, so i can fit it on a cd.... but it's ok for a free place. i looked forever for a place with free bandwidth. i guess it just depends on your style of music, and what you create, as to whether it's useful. :)

    ummm, no, it only lets you stream it there... hmmm, i've thought of that problem quite a bit too... "filelodge.com" lets you store up to 500mb there for free... i would try streaming it from bolt, and storing it in filelodge... filelodge was bought out by bolt, but i believe filelodge still lets people store stuff, and plus it gives you a link to paste. so, just under your stream on your site, paste the link from filelodge, and people should be able to download. bandwidth is unlimited.... i dont think this has changed since it was bought out by bolt, but i havent used filelodge in quite a while, i believe it still works this way.

    I just noticed this thread, and then I went and checked out bolt.com.
    Their FAQ states that the max. file size is 10 MB, not 100 as previously mentioned in this thread. Does anyone know if there are other sites offering free 100+ MB streaming mp3 capability?

    (from bolt FAQ:)

    What if I can't upload my music file?

    Make sure your audio settings are correct.

    * Accepted Audio Files: .mp3
    * Maximum File Size: 10 MB
