Upright bass/ride cymbal combo

I am in search of a jazz pack, specifically an upright bass/ride cymbal combo. I thought I came across a patch like that several years ago but I can't find it. Does anyone know if Kontakt has such a voice?

 

Well the factory Library/selection has an Upright Bass Instrument, and Drum instruments, not aware of any combo instruments that have both bass and drums, so you would have to load 2 instruments into Kontakt.

 

I was afraid of that. I used to have that voice on a Kurzweil 2500X but the Kontakt version doesn't have it. The factory library has an excellent ride around C#2 and D2 but I don't know how to map it across all 61 keys and replace the other voices. Is that something you can help me with or point me in the right direction regarding the editor?

 

So you want to play the upright bass across the keyboard and at the same time trigger a cymbal?

Exactly. As I play the upright bass the ride cymbal is triggered with every keystroke.

 

ohh i forgot to ask if the cymbal should play always at hte same freq, as a real cymbal would do or not?

I'm no longer at the keyboard but I'll try the file in the morning. Yes, the cymbal should remain at the same frequency for all keys.
