    Hey guys,
This is a very urgent post that I need help with ASAP as I'm a resident club DJ working 3nights a week - my next night is on Tuesday! This problem has led me to miss my gig last night - NYE!
I am running Traktor Scratch Pro 2 version 2.1.2 on a Macbook Pro OS X version 10.7.2 using the Audio 10 interface. My Traktor is only 4months old!
The equipment I use is 2 CDJ 1000s and a pioneer DJM 800 but I am guessing that is not the cause of the problem.
The problem I have is that the Audio 10 is not being recognised by Traktor or my macbook! I have the flashing USB light which is continuously on! I have tried restarting it a number of times - pulling out the power cables and ive tried 3 different USB cables.
Unfortunately I do not have any decks at home as I am travelling the USA so only use the club equipment so apart form when i'm at the club I have only been able to try the Audio 10 with no decks going in or out of it. I am guessing this wudnt matter tho as it shud still be recognised by my computer? If this is not the case please let me know!
I have totally uninstalled Traktor and re-installed. Reinstalled the Audio 10 driver and tried using the Device updater but i am unable to as the Audio 10 is still not recognised!
I have no idea why it is not working - I was using it all last week with no problems and I haven't dropped or damaged in anyway.
I cant stress how urgently I need to have this fixed as it is my livelihood!
Any help would be massively appreciated!
    many thanks!

I experienced this same problem last night when setting up for a gig. When I plugged in the audio 10 it just came up with a little error message saying usb device has malfunctionned, usb device no recognized!
Having reset my laptop and reset the power on everything etc. it worked fine but at pretty concerned about this happening again!

My advice to you mate is to always have at least something analogue to fall back on... its just too risky relying on something as temperamental as traktor.

Ye thanks for the advise mate. Turns out my Audio 10 has an internal problem so has to be sent back to NI. They are taking their time about sendig me all the details tho - have found their customer service to be pretty rubbish and they dont seem to care about their customers! Ive called them bout 4 times telling them how imortant it is I get it fixed asap because DJin is my profession and they havent sped up the process at all or even offered me a demo audio box while mine is getting fixed!
ive been wait 5days for them to 'PRINT' out UPS labels for me to have free postage! Kinda seems like a bit of a joke right now!
Thanks for your input anyway! hope everything turns out alrite for u!
