USB issue

Hi,
I know that NI doesn't support the behringer edition of Guitar combo but behringer won't respond and NI support just give me grief and I am at the end of a very long tether that could snap way soon so I am really hoping somebody here can help me with a very frustrating problem that really makes no sense.

The setup 4 macs and an iAxe

The beginning,
I had iaxe working with guitar combo way back when around 10.4.6 on a G5 tower, somewhere along the line this stopped working.
Then the G4 laptop stopped working. And by stopped working I mean the little blue light on the usb guitar doesn't come on when the usb is plugged in.

I put both of these down to some Apple software update. until the other day when I thought I would just for the sake of it, and knowing nothing would happen, I plugged it into a G4 tower that doesn't have guitar combo installed. Well what do ya know the guitar's little blue L.E.D. comes on. Very weird. So I thought I'd try my luck and plug it into a new macbook. and the light came on again. so, I thought yipee I can install Guitar combo and lo and behold the same problem again. The light doesn't work. So I plug it back into the G4 tower and the light comes on.

Could somebody please tell me how to get this thing working again. It is driving me insane. What is happening when I install Guitar combo that is causing the guitar to no longer be recognised.

I am currently running 10.4.11 on all machines.

I find it hard to believe that I am the only one that this has happened to because it has happened on all the macs.

Sounds like the guitar could be at fault.
Can you contact Behringer for a repair?
