USB Powered?

    Is the Z1 going to be USB powered when connected to a Laptop?

    I get that I will need a Power supply when connecting to an iPad, but a Laptop should have enough power.

    Yes it is USB powered when plugged in to a laptop. That's what it shows if you look at the setup examples.

    The Z1 will need powering when used with the iPad. This is the usual iPad limitation. The iPad does not supply enough power.
