Hey I'm sorry if this is the wrong place (I'm new to the forums) but I'm not sure where else to go. I bought the Komplete Classics and for a long time it worked pretty well on my laptop, and lately it's become very unreliable. It'll work fine for a few minutes, and then it crackles, pops, and dies on me. I'm not sure what the problem could be. I cleaned up my computer's hard-drive and ran virus checks. Everything runs ok but this program, and it's really puzzling because it used to run fine. It seems to especially cut out when I really dig into the keys and hit a high velocity. I know this is all sort of vague, but any clues on what could be my problem?

I run a midi controller into the laptop via USB, and then the sound goes through an external soundcard (also via USB) into an amplifier.

Not sure. Is this prolem unique to Akoustik Piano? Have you run all the Akoustik Piano updaters?

Try running a disk defrag and, if you still have problems and have a USB 2.0 hard drive, try moving the samples off of the main disk and onto the external drive.
