Used Traktor Kontrol with traktor pro 2 serial issues :(

Hi There guys

I bought a week old traktor Kontrol s2 which came with traktor pro 2.
As of yet I've been unable to use Trakor pro 2 due to the serial already being registered the guy i bought it off. He said he had done the change of ownership but I'm guessing he hasn't as i still can't register the software as it says its registered to another user he assures me this has been done?

I spent all my cash on this and I'm gutted that guy has pulled a fast one i have the box discs and the receipt.
Not sure what to do as i can't un register the serial number and the guy has stopped taking my calls i really thought i should have bought new but it was a week old and I've had it for two weeks and not been able to use at all

Can any one advise on this or am i going to have to get rid of it as its pretty much unless to me now so gutted I've been had

any help would be great I've sent a ticket and also sent emails about to N I but nothing yet

id love to buy it but to be honest i already have by buying the kontrol S2.
i don't have any cash left ;( the guy i bought it from said it would work as he had changed the ownership of the serial

the guy have given me this service centre login details and said to use his but i would rather use it on my service centre etc

I have a similar issue. Purchased a used Kontrol S4. The previous owner has gone ahead and relinquished the registration/serial from his account and the peeps at L.A. headquarters cannot still make it work for me. They are advising me to do ridiculous things that are not even related to my problem. It's been about a month now that I'm suffering in the hands of these incompetent people! Makes me wanna shoot myself.

Traktor S2 cannot register

I purchased my s2 from ebay nearly two weeks ago. I installed the program but now i can't activate the product because it is telling me the software is already registered by a different user. I haven't received a response from NI yet and the seller is not replying to my messages/emails. I have two very important events in January, please help!

You cannot get NI to register the software in your name because the seller has to make the request to NI. (Legal reasons). If you cannot get the seller to respond then the only other thing you can do is buy the software. ($89)

 

Hey guys,

So today i decided to format my computer, so all the software that was on my computer is now gone. i was busy trying to register my traktor kontrol hardware with my serial number that came in the box when i bought my equipment. when i tried to register my equipment on the internet it says that the serial number is in use by another user when i am the only user with that serial number. so i dont see what seems to be the problem? When i first bought my product i registered everything and everything went through.

I even have the receipt with the serial numbers on them. I am unable to download and reinstall my software.

please can someone help me on what to do so that i can solve this matter ?
