Hiya, with the newest update announcing front panel patching, I thought it a good idea to try to compile together some Blocks and Ensembles that I believe deserve the same treatment.

This has already been done with all of the modules in the Ampere Modular System:
    https://www.native-instruments.com/en/reaktor-community/reaktor-user-library/entry/show/12957/

But here are some of my personal requests, having these translated to be Front Panel Patch-able would be fantastic:

Modules made by Marius H (these include Controllers, A Bode Shifter, Filter Banks, and various Mixers):
    https://www.native-instruments.com/en/reaktor-community/reaktor-user-library/all/all/all/3727892/

herw's RUHR Semi-Modular Synth (polyphonic modular, a powerhouse):
    https://www.native-instruments.com/en/reaktor-community/reaktor-user-library/entry/show/7329/
(as well as any other of herw's modular systems)

Euro Reakt Modular (this is big one, but would be so worth it):
    https://www.native-instruments.com/en/reaktor-community/reaktor-user-library/entry/show/9093/

feel free to add any others that you find applicable/would like to see

I was playing with the same idea , if each developer would update his/her block for ffp patching , but that still doesn't mean you will be able to use them in rack mode , only in ensemble mode
In the meantime , you could just update them by yourself , it's just a matter of enabling the 'visibility on'setting for the input/output ports .
The most time consuming part is scaling the whole gui in an external editor , or you could just scramble them on the existing gui .

Also , herw modular system has it's own wires and can save snapshots , which would otherwise not be possible with fpp in ensemble .
I don't think he would agree with ruining his (wel thought out ) creation

sorry- RUHR is as well as all my other ensembles no semi-modular synth but real modular synth. You can add or change modules (called containers) as you like.
All my modulars are build with different solutions, so in EMSCHER is the newest and best one of these.
The GUI and the patching system of blocks are not compatible. I don't use blocks because of the very high cpu-usage and limitation to mono signals only. In EMSCHER you can deactivate every container. You can connect every output and input in poly-part and monopart (effects).
There is no difference to connect audio or event signals. Event signals are synched to audio stream.
My main criticism is that blocks don't use snapshots. When patching you need be able to compare a new patch with the starting patch. That isn't possible without snapshots.
The GUI is very different as all panel elements are connected with an addressing system (bus from Max Zagler's partials framework). Cables are part of the panel system so you can store it as snapshots. Using a preset isn't an elegant solution. With a snapshot you can change very quickly from one idea to another and compare.
It is a principle that all processing is in two core cells only (one for the poly-part, one for mono-part).
As it is an open system, you can build your own containers which isn't a beginner's job (for blocks too). The rules for building own containers are very consequent and an advanced builder will like it. So combining with other modular-ideas isn't useful.

Euro Reakt is now available as a paid product, so I doubt the UL version will be updated with FPP.

Not exactly, there is a free part, and a premium part.

Yes, true. I think my point is still correct though .
