User library?

I agree completely, there should be more useful sounds than the over fx`d library, there should be a section on the ni site where people are able to upload presets. At the moment a lot of people are making average soundsets and trying to sell them for a quick buck.

The only places I've seen that sell massive presets are:
camel audio and nucleus labs.

Know of any others? Please tell...

Massive User Preset Library

Hi,

I've recently purchased Massive and am suprised to see there is a user preset library on this site for most of the NI synths apart from Massive. Can we get one added for Massive ?

Also are there any other tutorial resouces for Massive apart from posts on this forum ?

OK- from what I've heard, it's coming. However, it's not going to be soon.

What they're going to do is revise the whole user library to fit in with Kore style attribute tagging. Needless to say, this is going to take some work, especially when you're talking about tagging Reaktor ensembles. While I doubt they'll be tagging snaps as far as Reaktor goes, just tagging the ensembles themselves is a lot. When that's ready to go in place, they'll launch the Massive library as well as a Kore user library.

really, this whole user library thing is silly - why not just put up a temporary one like the ones already in place for absynth, reaktor.

 

I especially wonder, how useful tagging Reaktor ensembles in the UL would be ?

Hi, would permission be required from NI in order to set up an unofficial FM8 user library?

I do not see why not, provided that the sounds are your own original patches and not taken from the NI library.

 

Note the original in Lancellot's statement. Old commercial DX7 banks and the like are not original patches.
