    Hi,

I'm new to the forum and have a question about the manuals included with the boxed version. I've had an order in place since the first week of Oct. but the reseller can't seem to get it in. They can't even seem to get an ETA so I'm thinking about just purchasing the download version rather than wait any longer. What printed manuals come with the boxed version? I've been playing with the demo now for awhile but it's not clear which of the included PDFs are printed. Are they worth getting the boxed version over the download?

    Thanks in advance.

    Todd.

    Is the price any different?

Personally, I like to have the hardcopy manual in front of me (I highlight bits, and mark stuff in there), so I'd wait for a boxed version. OR, just get it online! There's LOADS of eBay stores that sell it for less than full RRP.

    Thanks for the replies.

I also prefer the printed manuals. With the prices being the same for box vs download, I'll keep searching for a box version.

i like the printed manuals, but for me the reasons are so i can take them away from my computer. when i got Reaktor 4 and then 5, i read both sets of manuals at work!

but, if it was me, and it was a choice between printed manuals and waiting, or pdf manuals and no wait... id rather just download it.

is there a downloadable version now? i didnt even realize that. cool.

Once you've registered the your product, whether it's a download or a boxed-version, you can download the pdf versions anyway, so have both.I think....

My Komplete 4 only came with the "Reaktor 5 Manual", which is slightly different than the pdf version. I'm going to have my local Staples print me the Core Tutorial - double-sided, spiral bound with a cover, black & white printing is only $11 and change. I'm also having them do me a Kontakt 3 Script Language Manual.

Am I wrong that the boxed 5 comes with two manuals: Core Tutorial and Operation Manual with the latter INCLUDING a Instrument guide at the end?

Yes sir. Spent the weekend reading the manuals and started to dig into Reaktor after playing with some of the library ensembles. Really excited about the potential it has to offer. My only regret is that I didn't pick this up sooner.....
