I know that this is the first version with the (Denon) HID support so I wanted to try it out.

In both this version and the last version of Traktor Scratch Pro, I was/am able to use 2 of the same controllers with working LEDs, Inputs, and sound (using the internal sound cards), but when it comes to adding the screen information to both of my Denons, the problem starts.

I go to where it says add device (on the top left) in the midi controller options, go to Denon, and go to HC4500. Then I go across and select USB Device on both input and output. I do the same thing again for the second controller but this time selecting USB Device (2) for both input and output. This sound logically correct but what happens is Traktor does not realize that there are 2 controllers to put display on. I get display out of one controller. I've tried many combinations of settings.

I am not new with this stuff even though this is my first post. I know lots about MIDI but I can't seem to figure this one out.

I don't think this is a problem with my controllers being Denon, I think it is an all around Traktor problem for people who want to use more than one of the same controllers (with HID support). Please help me!

    I have the same problem!

Seems like Traktor doesnt send info about decks C+D.
I only manage to send info from A+B.

Just to clarify... Your not talking about Vista where windows doesn't recognize two of the same midi controllers at all... I have windows XP and I can map the inputs and outputs no problem.... But as for using the screen... Traktor only sends signal to one deck... NI... Please help... There are going to be lots of people getting 2 midi turntables but can only get information on the screen on one deck.

:) I'm on Mac OS X and have exactly the same problem as you.
I manage to send data to two decks, A and B.
This wont be a problem when using 2 x CDJ-400 or 1 x Denon HC4500 (2 decks). I believe we're not many of us who runs two denons (4 decks), or maybe this use case was not tested by NI...

Good to know, I didn't know that the problem didn't occur on Pioneers. I am also happy that there are at least two of us with this problem.

I would also like to share midi mappings, I am told that I have a very nice .tsi file. It took me about 14 hours of work to make. It is my pride and joy. Tell me what you think if you decide to try it out.

P.S. I have an EFX-500 so I do external effects; therefore, my .tsi file controls no effects.
