I wanted a small controller that I can keep in laptop bag at all times (Kontrol S2 is not quite so portable). I looked around at options, and went for a Numark DJ2GO2. I chose this because it wasn't *just* a hardware controller, it also had a built in soundcard, so I should be able to use headphone cue. It's sold as a Serato-ready unit but I saw that there was an official Numark mapping and an unofficial one on DJ Tech Tools.

Both these mappings work all the physical buttons, but in neither case can I get the audio setup working.

With headphones connected to the unit, I am getting nothing coming from the headphones and the Cue Level does not change thnigs (sure the dial changes in the Traktor UI, but I still get no sound).

What I *ideally want is for the headphone cue to work and the main output to come out through the laptop's speakers, but I'm damned if I can get this working at all. I want to be able to record with Traktor 3's built-in recording facility, while using the headphone cue in the DJ2GO2 to cue things up prior to putting in to the mix.

Depending on the mapping, I get different results.

    1) With the Official Numark mapping, changing Cue Level gives me no headphone sound, but does not affect the main output.

    2) With the Unofficial mapping that I got from DJ Tech Tools, changing Cue Level gives me no headphone sound, but it DOES affect the main output. So turning down cue to zero turns the main out to zero.

*** Has anyone successfully got a DJ2Go2 set up like this? As it stands, the sound card aspect of it is not working at all. [IMG]:( ***

If you have got the sound card working properly with Traktor, please can you tell me how things should be set?

For info, I am connecting this to a 2017 Macbook Pro, running latest Traktor Pro 3

I am having the exact same issue. I am working with a dj2go2 and a mac book pro, I was able to program ll of the commands succesfully (even the monitor volume and deck-to-monitor buttons, but I don't think traktor is recognizing the headphones jack in the dj2go2 as a monitor option, when I go into the monitor output setup screen, all I see is the macbook headphones jack...

Would love to get this resolved...

Same issue here, Traktor Pro 3 did not recognize my DJ2GO2 Touch as an audio device in the setting.
I found this thread during my investigation to solve this problem and no luck. But recently I find a workaround.

Traktor still can not recognize the device as an audio output directly, but once I created an aggregate device only with the DJ2GO2 Touch by Audio MIDI Setup.app, the aggregate device is correctly recognized as a 4ch-out audio device, and these channels can be used for line and headphone outs.

Hope this workaround works for other people too.

Takashi Toyoshima Thank you!! This workaround helped me, but I didn't need to create an aggregate device.

The stock Mac application "Audio MIDI Setup" shows Mac recognizes both the master out and the monitor (headphone) out, labeled as "Main" and headphone icon on the DJ2GO2 Touch controller. However, these outputs are not well-labeled in Audio MIDI Setup or Traktor: the Main out has 2 channels, "Front Left" and "Front Right", and the monitor out has 2 channels, "Front Center" (left) and "Low Frequency Effects" (right).

In Traktor Pro 3, in Preferences, when you select DJ2GO2 Touch as your audio device, go to Output Routing. Output Master has correctly selected Front Left and Front Right, but Output Monitor had nothing by default for me. Map "Front Center" to the left and "Low Frequency Effects" to the right. This worked for me as of Dec 31 2020.

I'm also in the process of mapping the DJ2GO2 Touch within Traktor and have figured out most of the functions (work in progress). The jog wheels work great, including full functionality with capacitive touch.

Takashi, I just learning how to DJ and I got the DJ2GO2 Touch, I have not got the jog wheels captive touch to work. Can you tell us how you did it, or maybe share your MIDI configuration? :-D

    After messing about for over two weeks I finally got Dj2Go2 to work with a Z2, 2 x F1's and 2 x X1's on WINDOWS 10
There are two TSI files I found on the web The one that works is by Jay Neural, a search should bring it up.
Download the file and place it where you can find it,
Rename is taking out any full stops apart from the .tsi, also shorten the file name.
At the bottom of the Traktor preferences export your current working settings (-Export everything by the way, so tick all the boxes) THIS IS VITAL! and should be done regularly in any event as I found to my cost when I didn't experimenting.
Next import the controller file by Jay Neural into the controller section of preferences.
Dj2Go2 should work as a transport control.
I also have a Pioneer MEP SepCi working with my Traktor controllers, the settings on the Sepc1 allow for a different midi channel to be used, unlike other devices - as a controller it has very limited capability, in fact it's pretty useless as a controller.
I now have a cheap means of starting , stopping and cueing songs with the Z2, along with jog wheels and, tempo control sliders, some of the other controls on the Dj2Go also work but using the ones on the Z2 are more practical.
If you run into problems, just import the file you originally exported.
AGAIN before doing ANYTHING export your current settings :)
Incidentally If you find the level meters on the Z2 do not show and the Z2 is in Traktor mode, using The Traktor mode button or buttons switch them off and on again.
The fader reverse switch seems to have a mind of it's own too, so switch that over and back again,
The fader and traktor buttons issue can give quite a headache when you have no sound output :)
