using a wah on VST instruments

    Playing live performances, i would like to use a control pedal to control a wah effect on a vst instrument in cuebase sx, just like the original crybaby. I dont know if that effect exist and how to set it. Can anyone help me ?

    you can purchase an expression pedal, which will allow you to transmit a midi controller # to control the cutoff frequency of a filter. to tell you the truth, though, i'd go lo-fi and just pick up a dunlop crybaby. take the output of the laptop and run it through the pedal - run it through a di box before the pedal if you're getting a lot of noise from the amp.
