    Hi,

I have a Roland FA08 that is currently being use with Maschine software only. The FA08 has its own audio interface with seems to be working fine but, sometimes when I used with Maschine it does cracking sounds. I have worked with different drivers and buffer sizes and seems to not fix the problem. Should buy a dedicated audio interface? I was thinking of Focusrite 2i2 3rd Gen. Would this be good enough? I have Windows 10 with 32GB Ram 10th Generation Intel Core i7-Processor (8MB Cache, 4.9 GHz). Any recommendation? Thanks

Does the audio interface offer an ASIO driver?

here is a helpful video made by native instruments, there are a number of settings you could tweak but these cover the majority of issues that are likely to be a cause of audio issues..
