Using Komplete Control Software with Arturia KeyLab Essentials?

    Hi everyone!

Recently I bought the Komplete 13 Ultimate Instrument Collection and I am thinking of buying a cheap Midi-Keyboard with 61 Keys.
Currently I am split between the Arturia KeyLab Essentials 61 and the Komplete Kontrol A61.
With the Arturia I like that it has soft Keys which aren't as noisy as the A61 and additional Controls like Faders, User-Mappings etc.

Is it possible to use the Komplete Control Software with the Arturia KeyLab 61 Essentials? If it is, how difficult is it to do so?

(I use Ableton Live as my DAW)

    All the best!

Thank you so much, Uwe! This helps a lot :) I like that NI and Arturia are opening their platforms a bit which adds value to the community. NI by adding Third Party Komplete Control Software Support and Arturia by supporting the NKS standard in Analog Lab for NI Boards.
Also, your hint with midi learn in that thread was great!

Thanks for your estimation with the A61 being a solid choice for now out of the box.
Will think another day over this!

As far as I know, from VCollection 6.1 on it is nks compatible.

Thank you Uwe! I will go with your suggestion and buy a A61 because I will use mainly NI Software and Integration is hassle free! :)
Additionally I am buying a Maschine Mk3 Mikro to have some nice drum pads. The feels of them is just nice!

    Have a nice weekend ahead!

Then have a lot of fun with your new toys, you'll need some time to learn all stuff. But then it's pure fun, i do songs fully in maschine, then export the audio to cubase for mixing but you don't need to do that. Everyone is different and has different workflow.
