So I have been doing lots of research lately and I just can't seem to figure this out. I want to be able to do one thing and I am not sure if it is even possible. So any information would be greatly appreciated.

I have a full song written in Maschine. I want to be able to "perform" it and record it as MIDI into the arranger mode in Ableton. I want every single sample from Maschine to be routed to a track in Ableton so I can mix it down appropriately later. I also want the ability to use Maschine as a controller in Ableton in order to record automation and whatnot.

So basically I use Maschine to compose and Ableton to mix and master. Also, I am aware of the MIDI and Audio drag and drop buttons in Maschine. This is NOT what I am looking for. I am looking for the ability to record in real time with all Maschine tracks routed to their own individual tracks in Ableton. Has anyone done this or is this even possible? So confused!

    Thanks!

you can set your sound outputs in the Maschine plugin to Ext 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. Then in Ableton you can set your Track In to Maschine 2 -> 1/2 ,etc. The only limitation is the plugin only has 16 outputs.

As long as you only have 16 samples to route then yes it is possible.

I think you can use multiple instances of Maschine plugin if you have more than 16 samples.
So you can have 1st instance for drums and percussions, cause usually these kits have more samples. And then load a 2nd instance for basses, synth and whatever. If u have more than 32 samples u can load a 3rd instance. Maybe u can use the ableton external instrument plugin for each track to route midi and audio. Am i wrong?

I was using this kind of setup few years ago, I remember I found the solution watching one of the Maschine tutorials videos on YT

    http://www.native-instruments.com/e...maschine-2.0-midi-patterns-into-ableton-live/

This guide may be also helpful

"With this setup it is now possible to program, move or edit each MIDI Note assigned to a MASCHINE Sound within Ableton Live's MIDI Editor rather than using MASCHINE's internal sequencer."

or this, if you want to record to audio waveform
