I have been reading the maschine manual inside out trying to figure out how to set about creating a song using maschine in standalone / inside my DAW . I am somehow confuse how to create different scenes with different pattern etc. Looking at the example " Born again" in Maschine Projects . That is sets out beautifully with scenes 1-8 and patterns ranging from A1-A14 . That is something I will like to do . But I am having a hard time trying to fiqure out how to get this done in maschine. when i switched to do a new scene with a new grooup it seems i will get A1 all time on the controller . I am hoping one of you guys might be able to help me and give me some advice how to to about creating different scenes with patterns. I am a noob to all this .

I'm relatively new also, but I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this one. Once you make a new scene, you hold pattern, then a screen on the right LCD should show you 16 blocks with A1 in the 1st block. You simply press the second block to do A2, the third block to do A3, etc., then get to bashing some more pads. If I'm wrong someone should help you out more, but I'm almost certain that's the answer you were looking for.
