    Hey, folks…
I've got Kontakt 2, and a library I bought a while back from Zero-G. Can't open them in Kontakt; it says they are unregistered and that I need to open them in the original app.

I've gotten the OSX update for Kompakt installer, and can get it open, but I can't get it to recognize that the Service Center has already activated this library for me; still seems to be thinking Registration Tool. How to get this out of Demo mode?

    Thanks!

That must be a different issue; already tried that and no luck. I still get the "…start the application that came with the content at least once" message, and I can't get past the Use the Registration Tool error in Kompakt to get it started, even though the Service Center says it has already activated Morphology, which is hard to understand since I've never yet used it on this computer.

I remember seeing something about that, but I can't remember where.

I'd contact registration support if I were you; if I remember, it takes a modified plist or .naf to get the Registration Tool prompt to go away.

Have you tried downloading the latest Service Center and running that? I thought that it does some invisible things to make sure that older Kontakt/Kompakt/Intakt Player products work. I could be wrong, though. Agree with ew -- contact registration support. I know it's possible -- I'm still using some old libraries successfully in Kontakt 3, and I know that's NI's intention (to allow you to continue to use them).

I ran into exactly this situation with an old Kompakt library. I ended up having to reinstall it, run the library in kompakt, close it and then Sevice center said it was authorized. But it would still not play in K3. At this point, NI sent me a plist which did the trick.
