    Hey guys ;)
I have 4 monitors and can't for the life of me find out how to route Machine Audio on Port 3&4 also at the same time it's output to 1&2. In other words, i found out in the preferences how to send Maschine audio to *either Port 1 & 2 OR 3 &4 but didn't find out how to output simultaneously to both sets so the 4 monitors play at the same time (even better if the main volume on the KA6 could drive both output)

Any thoughts / what am i missing

    thx!

Try using the cue option on the master (i.e. set master output to Maschine outs 1 and 2 and cue output to Maschine outs 3 and 4 so both sets of outs are receiving the same audio).

Hey Joca, thanks for the reply buddy
Unfortunately, as soon as you hit that headphone icon (cueing), the sound is routed exclusively to the other monitors. Unless you changed something else to enable them to play simultaneously ?

Either use a Group as a bus for all your other Groups and route the audio to both from there or use aux outputs for the second monitors.

Personally, I'd set up a "Master" Group that everything else feeds into (you can also use it for return tracks, additional processing, whatever) and then send the main outputs of that Group to master and aux 1 to Ext 2 (3/4).

Hey Mr36 - thanks for chiming in, I understand logically what you're proposing but am not clear on how to send the main outputs to two sources (so far i've only found drop downs with a single select when assigning an output) anyway i can push my luck and ask for a screenshot ? =)

Sorry, not at the moment (work computer, no Maschine), but you should get the option of sending audio out to Ext. 1, Ext. 2, Ext. 3 ... Ext. 16 from any audio output chooser/dropdown/selector. In the scenario I described above, you would either leave that "master" Group's main audio output set to Master and the Master audio output set to Ext 1 or set the "master" Group's main audio output to Ext 1 itself (essentially bypassing the master level) and then set Aux 1 audio output of that "master" Group to Ext. 2, which matches your physical outputs 3&4.

    Make sense?

Make sure that you have enabled audio outputs 1 and 2 for external output stereo pair 1 and audio outputs 3 and 4 for external output stereo pair 2 in audio settings (preferences), though this is the default for the KA6 anyway.

    Aux! :)
Thanks a lot buddy, that's the part I was missing (and especially that volume knob right next to it). Works flawlessly without any lag whatsoever, I can now close that loop "I-hope-i-don't-have-to-buy-another-audio-interface"

I can now get to work without this side thread running all day :p

thx again mate and have a good one

Sorry forgot cue is exclusive in Maschine.
You can rely on Mr36 for a correct answer.
