Hi all, I use Traktor to do my weekly radio show. I want to use the remix decks along with an Akai LPD8 to trigger samples for drops & jingles. The problem is, when I drop a jingle into a remix deck, it is ALWAYS either the wrong speed or pitched up really high. How the hell can I stop that so that when I drop a sample into a slot, when I play it, it only plays the sample exactly as it was recorded with no effects, speed or pitch change?

Driving me nuts! I'm sure there's a way of doing it!!! Can anyone help? Thanks!

turn sync off for the sample itself (the cell parameter) and of course your sample must be also set at the same bpm as the source it was recorded from (or at the original bpm). Traktor most of times has difficulties to find the right bpm for short one shot samples, especially if the sample lacks transients or beats (vocals, fx, etc..;). Does that make sense?

Had the same problem too, solved it thanks to -Yul-

I was also stuck trying to figure this out because the main sync button for the deck was off but the samples persisted in playing at higher or lower speeds depending on what was on the main decks. Apparently, in the cell parameters, situated at the bottom of the remix deck in advanced mode, each item has a list of toggles which also includes a sync button which you need to turn off for all your individual samples (each and every one of them) if you wish to play them at their original speeds.
