Hi, I wasn't quite sure where to post this question since it involves the Numark Stealth Control so I posted at both sites. Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this.

    My question is --
Is it at all possible to hook up a Stealth Control to my setup so I can use the Stealth STRICTLY for the turntables while still using my main mixer for everything else?

I read somewhere in the djforums a while ago where this guy was talking about how he uses his Hercules Control for only the tables since he had already had a better mixer for mixing.

...So it sounds like it's been done before. I just have no idea how.
    Help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance NI!

My setup: TS PRO, AUDIO 8 DJ, KONTROL X1, & Numark DXM09

What do you mean by strictly for the turntables?

    You mean the jogwheels?
    Yes that's possible.

Or do you mean to hook up your TTs for timecode use? That's only possible with the Audio 8 and NI drivers.

Yeah, for timecode use. I have everything but turntables atm so I'm trying to figure out how to use my Stealth control as some while still using my main mixer for everything else.

& I do have an Audio 8 so could I please get a little more detailed of an answer on how to set it up?

    Appreciate the help

Just plug your decks as required in the Audio 8 inputs (Chan A & B for example) and set traktor outputs to "internal mixing".

Set timecode control on decks A & B ann you'll have Traktor's main ouput sent to whatever output you want and plug this output on your mixer's. in this case, Traktor will only use 1 channel, you'll be able to monitor on another output on the Audio 8 and all the volume faders and Eqing will be done within traktor with the Stelath Control.

^^ he's wanting to mix externally, and only use the SC for deck control from what I gathered.

So you'd need to choose (as example) the 2 deck external layout, and set your audio routing as you want it. Then you need to load your Stealth Control tsi file via the controller manager, to be able to use the control elements.
