I was wondering if anyone here has used their S4 for recording vocals and samples etc ?

Do you just record to .mp3 or .wav ?

Also ... I'm curious if at some point in the future if you could use the S4 as some type of VST/VSTi plug-in so that you could record it in proper DAW software like ableton or cubase.

Just looking for some thoughts on GETTING THE MOST out of my S4.

    What do you guys think?

PS. I've been thinking up upgrading to Traktor Scratch Pro 2 so that I can use my two turntables with my S4. What is the cheapest way to accomplish this ? Buy the time code vinyl seperate and just purchase the upgrades software ? Any type of discounts for S4 users available ?

I use my s4 for recording allmost daily and i love that it records the orginal sound produced out of the s4 i use it to record mixes,samples,ect.... it records them in WAV. but i ussually export them to MP3 afterwords. Being able to record though the s4 is one of the biggest pluses for me.
