Hey guys. I've been using Traktor for a couple of years now and I've always used it with control vinyl/control cd's. As of recently I've sold off my turntables and cd players and am now using only midi. My controller is the Akai LPD8. It's a fantastic controller but I'm having one slight issue with using it with Traktor.

Sometimes a track will not stay synced with the other track or vice-versa. Most of the time I use tempo bend to keep them synced perfectly. However, I do have a few tracks that just won't stay synced. I have tried gridding them but have had no luck. I guess I am struggling with this because before I went pure midi, I could easily slide the pitch fader to keep the two tracks in sync. But with the Akai LPD8 there is no faders, just pads and knobs. I've tried adjusting the BPM on the tracks in question but that doesn't seem to work either. It seems like the tracks I have trouble with are the ones that were ripped from vinyl and the tempo fluctuates throughout the whole track.

Does anyone have any suggestion they could offer as to how I could maybe get around this? Am I over complicating the issue altogether?

The only good solution for this at the moment is to warp those vinyl rips in Ableton to get a constant tempo (untill Traktor comes with a warping solution)
