Hey everyone,

I am glad to announce that the next big update v1.5.0 is now launched and all the customers should receive an email with the zip file and some information.
You can always download the update at any time through Gumroad from your purchase.

The user manual will shortly come after, within this month as I have to change the existing user manual to be up to date with the latest version (unreleased existing user manual development).

Please see CHANGELOG.md file (or the Changelog posted in this forum's 2nd post) for a brief overview and information about the new things and changes.

Hello,

I was aware of some issues with v1.5.0 release where the script wouldn't show up in the Live 11's Preferences' Control Surface dropdown.

Every customer has received another email for this important note.

Please re-download the zip file for the new script release v1.5.0, now it will correctly show under Live 11's Preferences' Control Surface dropdown.

I apologize about this inconvenience, it should now work as expected.

I don't know if I'm skipping a step or doing something incorrectly. I just want to click "pad mode" and play my drum rack samples. What should I do to make that happen?

 

I would like to add that your hard work and time into this script is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you for your kind appreciation

To go to PAD/DRUM mode, please select and arm the track in your Live Set, containing the drum rack device and press the PAD MODE button on the hardware. You can scroll up/down samples of your drum rack by rotating the JOG WHEEL of the hardware.

Understood. The jog wheel/scroll works. However, It's my understanding that I cannot use the pads to trigger the samples? I think since I've gone to Monterey, I've been unable to do so. Thanks, anyways for your time.

I am sorry to hear that you are having trouble with the script on MacOS Monterey. Please let me know more about the problem to solve it together.
Do the pads light up with the drum rack chain/pad color (or auto color depending on the name of the chain/pad, i.e: "kick" has red coloring to the script in DRUM mode, etc). Is the selected drum rack track armed?

I have the track with the Drum Rack highlighted and armed. I hit 'pad mode'. I can use the jog wheel, but hitting the pads does not trigger Drum Racks. The pads are greyed out/no colors.

MacOS 12.1
Ableton Live 11.0.10

 

Are you using Maschine MK3 or MIKRO MK3?
