TRAKTOR VAIO VGN N31L Ruido Infernal

Hola a todos!

tengo un problemito: he comprado un laptop VAIO VGN N31L, OS Vista Home Premium y todo bien hasta que he intetado conectarlo con mi mixer y me sale un ruido como de "White noise".

Conectando los altavoces standard para pc no pasa nada, pero con un mixer o con una interafaza audio (USB o firewire da igual) conectada al mixer u otro dispositivo, el problema no se soluciona.

Hay alguien por alli k haya tenido el mismo problema? Es que ya me ha causado un dolor de cabeza que no veas y no entiendo si es un problema de incompatibilidad entre software y hardware o si el pc tiene algun defecto de fabricacion.

Esper k alguien me pueda ayudar o por lo menos decir si la unica opcion es enviarl el laptop a la asistencia tecnica Sony.

Hola ale,

i had have the same problem on a acer notebook and firewire soundcard. After deinstalling Vista and installing xp sp2 (on a second HDD), every problems are gone. Maybe it will be the answer of your problem. Sorry about the english anwer, but my spain is very bad.

Hi Bern, i thank you for your answer.

In the last days I tested other configuration/ connections, and the result is: the power supply cable cause grounding noise. As i run the laptop only with battery thatz no problem, no noise, not at all. I think I'll have to buy a ground loop isolator (it's something you use with your car HI-Fi when there are ground noise problems) or a DI box for my soundcard.
I talked about that with a friend who's professional sound technician and told me a lot of Djs or bands using laptop get often the same noise (As i read in internet that's an issue with almost 50% of laptops with 3 prog power supply cablebut fortunately the solution is not expensive (groundloop isolator is about 16 $ /EUR and you can find cheap DI boxes for 9 $/EUR)
Hope my little research can be useful for other user with the same problem (gave me a very big headache!)

yes, a di-box is very good idea i had very wild noises without them in the connection RME fireface to the monitors.
I'm glad, you've a good answer to this problem. It's not so funny to installing a new system ;-)

DI Box and Ground Noise Vaio

Hi Bern!

Ja DI box is das beste, ich hatte schonmal XP anstelle Vista installiert aber keine Aenderung hatte sich ergeben. Außerdem arbeite ich letztens mit Protools und keine Vista - Version ist vorhanden, laut der Webseite soll man bis Sommer abwarten (und dann möglicherweise die neue Vista Protools kaufen... ich hasse Digidesign, Protools ist doch klasse!)

Bin italiener aber wohne in Berlin, wenn du vorbeikommst, ruf mich an für ein Bierchen!

Yo creo que tu problema se puede solucionar colocando al enchufe de tu ordenador un " ladron " osea un enchufe con varias tomas , el que tiene forma de T . Yo tuve un problema similar y asi lo solucioné. Intentalo asi y postea que tal te ha ido. Supongo que ese ruido lo escucharas a traves de los altavoces o a traves de la preescucha de tu mesa de mezclas.
