VCI-100 Map

Is there a (starting-point) VCI-100 midi map file for Traktor Pro out there?

Yeah its included in the download, press the import button in the preferences menu and then look in the midi mappings folder.

 

I installed mine from a disk. Didn't see any midi mapping directory.

I'm using a mac and its in docs.../nativeinstruments/traktor/settings/midi mappings/

I've attached it to this post as well you will need to unzip it first.

 

Strange, no midi dir on my Windows machine. THANK YOU for the files.

Ok ... this tsi was not working for me with my VCI-100 fw v1.2 and Traktor Pro v1.0.1.

So I spend some time to map it for my unit. You can use it and try.

btw: in preferences of Traktor Pro please set:
- Mixer EQ Type > Classic
- Effects > FX1 > Advanced
- Effects > FX2 > Advanced

if the scratch will not work, You can try second one... it depends on which firmware version of VCI-100 You have...

i can finally scratch!

 

How can I change the configuration to have the seek modus on the side of the wheel and scratch mode on the wheel (vinyl mode enabled)?

 

You need to reMAP it

 

Thanks silek! Your configuration is close to that I use with Traktor 3. But with your tsi-file, it is not possible for me to scratch. Using vinyl-mode the jog-wheels don't work at all. Also the effect section does not work for me
Wanted to try your second configuration. But it's down.

yes, I have the same preferences. As far as I know I have the 1.0 firmware.

VCI 100 sucks with pro, wtf mappings! Someone needs to make a rockin one STAT! XONE settings, 4 eq controls pleeeease!

Nice one dude, modified some of you mappings to suit me but great job, saved me loads of time, like the way you have mapped the effects.
I use the Deck Balance knobs for key and the Chan Gain knobs for Monitor Vol and Monitor Mix. I have also mapped the master clip to the Effect LED on my master section (I have a black vestax and the LED is bright blue)

Modified the loop select to be 4 8 16 and 32 and used middle button in the loop section as preview skip.

I have also disable the Xfader.
