    Ok i know this isnt the right place for this blah blah but hey, i can do what i want round here right ? *as another Mod steps in and move my thread hah*

    Ive been given a VCI 300 to play with for a day.
    Ive had a scout round and all the tsi files i can find for the VCI 300 are just so darn messed up. Modifiers all over the place and none of them seem to have the jog wheels scratching properly. Unusable mostly. I just need a basic tsi that has the jogs working and basic transport and mixer functions.

    Has anyone got a decent BASIC tsi so i can give this thing a whirl tomorrow.
    A quick fix up is what im looking for. Ive got no knowledge of the 300 but i do have a 100. Ive got very little time with this thing so ... heres the plea.

    Ta

    Ha yeah i know but i only had the thing for a day so i was looking for a quick fix.

    I got a few off DJTTs but (no disrespect) they were just garbled messes.
    One had so many modifiers i simply couldnt work out what buttons did what they all had 3 or 4 states and none had the jog wheel scratching during playback only when the decks are static.

    Im taking it back in half an hour. My mate says if i can get it up and running we can do a dealio cus he wants a 100 . so.... dunno. Gonna have it again at the weekend and ill bust it open and create my own tsi.

    I might just beg Rainer to explain how to get the jog wheels working properly;)

    I do feel like a noob:eek: Back to the Bible then.

    Do share if you make a .tsi. Seems everyone has a problem with getting the jog wheels to scratch... why is that?

    Maybe 14 bit wheels?
    14 bit is broken in 1.2.3 and will be fixed in 1.2.4

    Dunno. I havent delved into it yet.
    Many of the tsi that i tried had the scratch function working when the track isnt playing but applying the scratch Button when the track was playing stopped the track.

    Like i say i had an hour with it so ...

    Dunno if i need the Midi Translator running that is on DJTTs ?

    Yeah im ok in that respect.;)

    I have a vci300 and would love to see a quality tsi, too. I've downloaded a few that are a good start. The jog wheels...I wonder if that will be fixed in upcoming releases of traktor?

    I've got a VCI 300 and I'm using a demo version of Traktor Pro 1.2.5, but I still have issues with the jog wheels and scratching.

    When a track is playing I can scratch, but as soon as I stop moving the jog wheels, the track starts playing again, even though I haven't released the platter.

    Any ideas?

    Traktor is an awesome DJ app otherwise and if I can get this fixed I'll be purchasing it ASAP...

    Hello,

    You can try this: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=NGWKMYZ0

    It's my last tsi for vci-300, the jog work nice, not as whell a ITCH but it work when the sound playing.

    Only working With Traktor (scratch) Pro/Duo 1.2.4 or newest. Don't work correctely with older version !

    It's a mapping for 2 Decks and 2 effects chained per deck.

    You active effects by pressing "pitch shift up" for effect 1 and "pitch shift down" for effect 2.

    "Autotempo" active/desactive the effect control mode.
    When activated: ED Low control Dry/Wet. EQ Mid control Effect 1 value and EQ low control Effect 2 value.

    6 Hotcues/loop In => Cue1 to out3.
    Delete 6 Hotcues/Loop In => Shift Cue1 to out3.
    Loop Out/End Loop => AutoLoop.
    Autoloop => Shft Autoloop.
    Adjust Loop Out => Scroll + Jog.
    Loop Double => Double.
    Loop Half => half.

    Scratch On/Off = Scratch.
    reverse => Shift Censor.
    Filter => Trim.
    Trim => Shift Trim.
    Filter ON => Censor.
    Seek => Shift + Jog Wheel.
    EQ = EQ
    Low Kill = Shift + Double. (Left Deck)
    Low Mid = Shift + Half. (Left Deck)
    Low Kill = Shift + Half. (Rigt Deck)
    Low Mid = Shift + Double. (Right Deck)

    Sync Tempo => Shift Cue.
    Sync Phase => Shift Play.
    KeyLock = KeyLock.
    Pitch Reset = Shift KeyLock.

    Browser Folder => Crate.
    Browser Files => Files.
    FullScreen Browser => Browse.

    Expand Folder => Center button.
    Folder/Files selection Up/Down => Up/Down.

    Load Files = Scroll + PFL(A/B).
    Load Next = Shift + Double.
    Load Previous = Shift + Half.

    Sorry for my bad english .... ;)

    Thanks myki,

    I just downloaded your mapping. Just tried it out quickly and scratching actually works as expected! Nice job!

    Funny, I *just* figured out a way to get scratching to work properly. You should take a look at the thread I just started for it at http://www.native-instruments.com/forum/showthread.php?t=108856 and let me know what you think.
