hi guys I've just bought a vestax vcm-100 controller.
I've absolutly no problems with traktor dj studio 3, traktor 3 LE, and any other software that use tks mapping.
but I really have some issues with traktor pro and traktor scratch pro...basically with tsi file...
I've tried the included tsi file and also that on vestax website, with the first one the LED lights wont turn on...with the second one the lights began working.

but I still have some issues like:
    - fine buttons are not configured (I've make it works by myself, no problem!)
    - accuracy of tempo knobs sucks (really!): in traktor dj studio the accuracy is by 0.1, in traktor pro is 0.3-4....even if I set to the minimum!
    - the tracks preview by pushing the central button is really loud!
    - the output master volume is a lot lower comparing to traktor dj studio (same settings!) and I have to raise up the external volume to gain...
    - in traktor dj studio if I push sync and I move the tempo knobs, the tempo level doesnt change, it's locked (it's correct!)...in traktor pro it doesnt happen...

finally...I don't have those problems with vci-100 and tpro...it's strange that vestax wont release a working tsi file for her twin... :-(

Anthony I sounds like your kinda new to Traktor in general.

Most (if not all) of the issues you are having can be solved within the midi configuration and a better understanding of the way Traktor Pro works in general

The problem with Traktor is between version 3.4 and TPro 1.2 Beta, they've completely changed the way midi implementation and sync works. So all the TSI files floating around only half work with Tpro 1.2 Beta and SYNC has changed in many ways through the various updates since TPro started.

I suppose all this will settle at some point but, in the mean time NI has bigger (freakin huge) fish to fry then to worry about the small stuff. Not to minimize ur issues here - I would suggest reading the various Traktor Pro Bible PDFs floating around on this site. There is one in the header of this forum regarding TPro 1.2 Beta with TONS of valuable info. And there is also a general Traktor Pro Bible with is a more comprehensive veiw of Traktors new concepts.

Also www.DJTechtools.com has some great info (including videos) regarding the changes in TPro.

Believe me, your not alone....Hope this helps a little...
