Velocity input for Grain Cloud Module

    Does anyone know if its possible for the Grain Cloud module to accept velocity information from midi input so that the sample map can load different wavs for different note velocities?

    This seems like such a wierd thing to be left out and I've got a feeling I'm missing something really obvious here...

    You should be able to set the Low-Val and High-Val for the velocity in the sample map editor. Samples that match the note and velocity range (it's 0...127 by default) will play.

    The velocity comes in on the gate signal.

    I'm not 100% sure this works for the grain cload, but I know it works for some of the other sampler modules.

    Hi Chris - Thanks for your suggestion. It worked great.. I had to connect the ouput of the On. Velocity module directly to the gate input of the grain cloud (without any 0-127 range conversion).
