There's no mention in the 'new version' email I received about any specific improvements for the PC version. Are there any?
I don't want to go through all the pain of the 'new registration process' if there are none.

John, I installed the update on my PC. Haven't noticed any improvements but the new registration procedure was very quick and easy.

I just got the update version 1.0.2 on Bandstand. My original version of Bandstand came as a CD. I installed it on a non-internet computer(one only for music). I got the authorization numbers and tranfered them to my music computer. But I don't know how to authorize the update. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, I installed the new version after a poster on the Band In A Box forum said there was in improvement in speed of sample loading. I can't say I've detected that yet, but we'll see. One major improvement was one I suggested, that it stays on top! i.e. if you're running it as a plugin within BIAB it doesn't 'disappear' when you make BIAB the focus. Thanks Markus! You've undersold the upgrade! Now, is there anything else we should know about? ;o)

When, oh when, might we have some improved guitar sounds? They really do let the product down IMHO.

PS: I see Garritan are releasing a similar product to Bandstand in February using the Kontakt engine. I hope you're going to release a V2 soon - it would be ironic if Garritan stole a march on Bandstand using NI technology!?!?
