I've installed the latest beta on Big Sur and it won't output sound, even so the track is playing. I've also noticed that the levels are stuck in an odd position:

I've tried it both, using the output of my MacBook as well as my S4 MK3.

I've observed a similar freeze once. Was this a single occurrence or can't you get version 3.5.0.263 to work at all on your system - even after rebooting your computer?

I tried rebooting. I always just get a crackling sound when starting Traktor and after that, it won't output any sound at all. Also with the latest Beta 3.5.0.264.

Edit: Turns out that after wiping my settings from "Macintosh HD > Benutzer > *Benutzername* > Dokumente > Native Instruments > Traktor 3.x.x" it's working normally now.

I have filed the issue as TP-15505.
Kilian Schefer : Can I ask which OS/OS version you're working on ? Thank you.

Sure, let me know if you need additional debugging input. I've made backup of my user directory, so i can hopefully go back to the "broken" state.

I'm having the same issue. I just get a crackling sound when I start up Traktor. I'm running Catalina on a MacBook. Any help would be appreciated.

We found a way to reproduce a similar audio freeze, which is just by using the effect "Flanger Pulse".

Jose Salgado , Kilian Schefer - can you get back to us, wether you are using Flanger Pulse in any of your effect units?

BTW: resetting the Settings will also remove Flanger Pulse from any FX preselection, but the problem will come back as soon as you reuse the Flanger Pulse.

Just here to give my findings:

I've had the same issue, on a mid 2012 2,9 GHz Dual-Core i7 MacBook Pro running Catalina 10.15.7.
    Traktor 3.5.0.263

Crackling noise when starting up, and the same VU bar as Kilian shows. Seeing the comment about the Flanger Pulse i've been experimenting.
Flanger Pulse is indeed in the FX section, when I replace/remove it from the FX section and restart Traktor the issue is resolved. As soon as I put back Flanger Pulse audio the problem resurfaces and stays if I try to switch back the FX. Have to do a restart to have audio back again!

At least I know now what the problem is! Thanks!

yeah, just saw it on Facebook, and already installed! Love the cover integration, I always use cover art when I'm searching for a track
