When I try to change snaps using an external MIDI keyboard, Reaktor 5.1.4 does nothing. Is the Midi Program Change command not being recognized by Reaktor? My MIDI keyboard hasn't changed setup since successfully running a prior version of Reaktor (5.1.2) earlier today, and I've verified that the newly installed version is pointing to the correct MIDI input/output device. Can anyone else recreate this bug?

Again I cannot use my computer keyboard in standalone Reaktor 5 or Battery 3 standalone. I have enabled Use of computer keyboard in both but only a few keys like , . - sends midi. I have tried both U.S. and German besides Danish but no change. Midi channel set to "Omni"

Bug or is it something I need to do?

    Mac intel, Leopard.

I (still) cannot use my computer keyboard in VST Reaktor in Nuendo. I have tried the nuendo preference 'plugins receive key commands' both on and off with no change.

This problem has rendered Reaktor unusable for me since I purchased it in December 06, so I'm not happy at all.

Cutting and Pasting a Macro Reaktor crash

    Crash dump included in zip.

Basically cutting a simple macro containing a couple of event mergers, and OSCReceive and an OSCSend.

save ensemble doesn't work for me any more. I just updated to 5.1.5 and skipped all older versions but when I go to
the save dialog, it doesn't remember the position of the loaded ensemble and goes always to the default folder. This wasn't so in the old version . Save as and save show the same dialog. Im on Win XP SP2.

are you talking about the Factory Ensembles (those that came with Reaktor 5) ?

to protect these ensembles from being over written, you have have to save your new versions in your User Folder. this has been the case for quite sometime.

so yes, if your saving Massive 1.1 (as an example) the save and save as dialogue is the same. if you save it to you Users Folder with an amended name, then the save and save as dialogue will be different, and work as you expect.

so this is a feature, not a bug.

thanks for enlighten me on this one! (Can I say that?) My user folder was inside the ensembles folder and that was the reason why it did not work.
    Cheers

I just noticed an incredible disparity in the amount of memory R5 uses with an empty ensemble at different internal samplerates relative to the samplerate of the soundcard:

    Soundcard: M-Audio Delta 192 at 88.2khz...

    R5 SR Approx. Mem(taken from Vista32 SP1 task manager)
    44.1 40mb
    88.2 30mb
    176.4 120mb
    352.8 200mb

...And maintaining that memory useage at those ratios when the samplerate is set to 176.4.

Surely something isn't right about that, loading an ensemble without any bitmaps or tables consumes the above amount of memory plus approx. 3x the filesize of the ensemble.

That is R5.1.4 , as I've not installed the 5.1.5 update yet, but AFAIK the release notes said nothing about fixing that.

The "To Voice" module (Built-In Modules > Auxiliary > To Voice) has a bug with note C-2 (Midi note zero).

When "To Voice" receives midi note C-2 it outputs a previously received note. To Voice never outputs note C-2.

    I have experienced this in v. 5.1.2 and 5.1.5.

Reaktor crashes every time when on core level I'm trying to assign a constant of value less than -1E+38 or more than 1E+38 to any module (say Compare or Router).

    IC Send bug

The "IC Send" module sends wrong values to module types "Fader" "Knob" and "List".
I have provided an ensemble which illustrates the problem.

..or instead of Min 1 you should put 0 (take a look at my ensemble). Anyway, you're right (bug or nature of these modules). Thanks for ensemble.

Thanks for the workaround! Setting min value to 0 solved the problem of faders and knobs receiving wrong values.

That, however, does not explain why you need to reverse the Min/Max values of an IC Send in order to send to a list.
In my opinion there is definitely a bug when using IC Send with a List.
