    hi,
I just bought a vestax tr-1 which is just awesome!
    i just have this problem:
the default mapping is aimed at using 4 decks with volume faders and pitch for 2 decks and then switch for the 2 other ones.
actually i want to change the 2 pitch faders to volume faders for deck c and d so i can control them on every position of the deck's switch.
so i change the mappings by "learn"but it appears that it doesnt work out the fader doesnt follow smoothly but jumps up and down!
then i try to manually input another midi entry:ch10pitchbend is the name of the note, then i have to tick the invert box and it works(i just cant use both c and d faders at the same time)
then my biggest problem is tha even saving my mapping, if i quit traktor and lauch it again the mapping has disappeared!
if somebody can help me i would be enchanted!thanks!

Where did you get your TR-1? I have been waiting for months and still none in stock that I can find.

I had originally set mine up to do this but ended up changing back as I didn't like not having control over my pitch.

I have re-mapped my TR-1 now to the way I like including using a modifier and the effects buttons so I can use them as hotcues.

Anyway what you need to do is:

In the settings part at type of controller set to : fader/knob
    Interaction mode: Relative

Then tick the invert box at the bottom and you should be good to go. Thats all I did with mine and it worked perfect.

    Hope this makes sense.

Also, I'm selling mine soon as I'm going back to CDJ's. Let me know if your interested.

    Interesting question though.

When you switch the decks from A to C or B to D the unit changes midi channel for these sliders.

What you could try to do is to map left pitch fader to C channel volume with top switch in A position and then switch the deck to C and map it again. Same for other side. So in the end you'll have 2 mappings for deck C (on two channels) and 2 for D.
