Is there going to be a video plug in for traktor scratch like serato scratch video-sl because i know that the quality of sound on a traktor scratch is better than serato ?

 

ATM there are no plans to implement such a feature.

I guess NI better starts to develop...I don't understand how they are going to compete with other DJ-warez in the future? Traktor now, more or less, has it all. Traktor 4 with another 50 knobs, you'll never use? What's the use of that? I say 'go video'.

-it has a txt generator (also on beat)
-it has camcorder in (also in on beat)
-it has VST & videoFX
-it allows pc-multimedia (rendered to video)
-it has a sampler
-midi-control
-DMX (lighting management)
-broadcast
-interface adaptable
- ....

 

I just replaced CUE (Virtual DJ) with Serato - because all the 'cool' video options were just getting in the way of mixing music, and causing more headaches than it was worth...

If it does get added, I hope its a totally seperate product, because it seems that once a program starts to do to many things at once, somethings bound to fall apart...

video plug for traktor scratch is great idea. i whish native instruments build a video plug fast as possible. because i`m thinking buying the virtual dj just because can mix video and i like to add video to my sets... thank you to all

 

Im kind of glad that there is not such a video plug in for Traktor scratch. I think it would put a definate hurt on the quality of traktor scratch that we as users are use to.I also feel this would move buyers that are more grass rooted hip-hop DJs not to purchase Traktor Scratch....just a thought.

 

Cannot understand the video options are getting in the way if you don't use them? So why using the program then?

i do not agree:
-i never had a crash,
-it performs very well,
-i don't care about popularity, i do care for what i can give my clients, more than music
-i use several vst & video effects combined, works with no problem
-nor i or my clients are interested in the GUI, it's a all-in one tool i can use.
- i use it with a old single 3.0ghz and a crappy ati-card (256mb), no problems at all.
- one thing could be better, overall sound isn't that good as traktor.

I promote up above list of many facilities amongst other wedding-dj's who only have one line to promote:"im a dj, yes you can hire me"

Now i'm working on a SMS-server, so people can send sms-messages to the projector screen. "Sorry honey, were a wedded couple now, but i sleep with uncle Patrick tonight"

 

serato did the video plug in .whay? virtual dj / pcdj vj / numark. whats the problem if native do a video plug in like serato did ? and just who want to play video can buy the plug in.

 

as said before: i'm feeling you, but i dont have good news in that direction!

 

the sms idea is something ive been talking about for three years. i hope you do it and post back with the method and results.
