Vinyl plus Time Code Vinyl Digital sets

Hi friends. Need a bit of help.

Very new to Traktor. I've been a Serato user for years, but got a lovely Allen and Heath PX5 which sounds amazing but now I am getting my head around Traktor.

Any useful tips and trick please, I would love to read any shortcuts and advice that you have found helpful in your time of use.


Main annoyance that I cant seem to find any shortcuts for (aside from midi mapping perhaps).... is switching between vinyl and time code digital vinyl.
Track deck to live input seems to be the best way (to stop the lap top looking possessed whilst I'm playing a vinyl record).

But if i forget, then i have to wig out for the whole track as it wont let me switch while the deck is playing. I cant find anything in preferences=loading to unlock playing deck... any other ideas?

traktorbible.com is a good source for information about traktor. They have tons of mappings for traktor and many many controllers, sometimes better than the original ones.
