Vinyl Storage

Whats up Maschiner's do any of you ladies and gent's know of a good not to expensive type of storage unit for my vinyl i have say 300 to 400 records i was thinking ikea any help is great. thanks in advance

You should have a look at the Expedit!

 

I use an older model of the Ikea PS

now they're too low.

 

Gorilla racks aren't very attractive but they hold about 1000 LP sized pieces of vinyl.
Gotta cut some custom end pieces for them though.

Funny have the Gorilla rack sitting right in the middle of the floor in the box didn't put it up because of the look.But i also heard to use the Expexdit

Those look a lot nicer than my gorilla racks.
Can you build them to pretty much any size?
Are they really sturdy?
How much do they go for?
I need room for about 15,000.

Hopefully after we move in July I will be able to swing a trip to IKEA and finally get the Expedit shelves I have been eyeing for so long. Right now I have them on shelves from Target that work but they definitely aren't durable longterm.

Some are too small but quite a lot will fit. Have you never heard of "digging in the crates"?

they r supasturdy... here in germany they go for roundabout 120- 200 euro , depends which size , i got 2 with 25 cube spaces .......yes.. u can combine different elements ....like to cover a wall....... if i put 60-80 albums in 1 of that cube spaces i can still easily flip through them... i would say u need a lot

not at all, they fit into the local crates here .... as i started collecting i had em in about 15 milk crates .... aaaa the memories
