    Hi all,

I have been using VGP (V1.1.7.01) on a notebook for nearly twelve months and have recently installed it on 2.8 GHz P4, hoping to experience its sound with lower latency and better speakers .

The programme installs and registers and loads flawlessly on the P4, but unfortunately, it will not permit any loading of the patches in any mode (standalone, VST or DXi). It recognises the patch lists, but the moment I selct one, it flashes the "loading patches" screen for a fraction of a second, and then returns to the piano with nothing loaded.

It makes no difference which soundcard is selected, or the sample rate, or the direct disk access options etc.

Both machines run XP and have >1 Gb ram, and should really be identical, as all my other VSTis work flawlssly, and I am therefore at a loss as to why this might be.

I was hoping someone might have heard of something similar, or could perhaps point me in the right direction?

    Cheers,

    Tasty.

    (Australia - incase you care)

    I don't think VGP is a NI-powered product...
