vocoder routing inside maschine

Having some trouble vocoding sounds inside maschine. Im trying to use the bluecoder ensemble within reaktor, and i want to vocode samples using it.
I have the vocoder loaded on 1 pad as a reaktorfx, with the settings set to external and on another pad i have the samples i wish to vocode. Im sending the output from the sample pad to the vocoder but i dont seem to be able to get any audio through reaktor so to speak. I have tried searching this forum and following instructions from other threads but nothing seems to work. any help greatly appreciated, thanks

 

Open the editing part of the ensemble where it has all the "spider web" type things. Make sure the input is connected to the input of the vocoder. It can be a little complicated if you've never done it. This could be incorrect but it might help.

 

thanks, i worked it out. opened the editor then created an in port and connected to the modulator
