VOKATOR 1.1.1 OS X update now available

- AU supports MIDI FX, now works as an effect in DP 4.5 and Logic Pro 7

I am replying to your post as I think you are part of the NI team. A fundemental problem with NI products such as Vokator is the manuals. A manual is not just an attempt to tell which buttons do what. You MUST explain to users how you can accomplish basic tasks through them. Now everyone knows what a vocoder does but putting it into practice is a different ballgame! NI must check other manufacturers' manuals and try to get an overview as to how to explain your interfaces. (i.e. press this button, tweak that knob, etc, etc..) You cannot simply assume that everyone is a synthesist and by purely telling them where the buttons are, your job is done. Your manuals are arguably the least informative pieces of printed material across the digital audio field. Not that I'm expecting you guys to do something about it or care as you have become such a big player in the field but I thought you might do with a bit of a constructive criticism. Love your instruments, though

 

How about a UB Update!!???

That would be really swell seeing as how I have already given you thousands of dollars for software that is very slow to keep up.
