Vokator is running fine as standalone, but in Nuendo 4 I get the following error message:

Vokator is not registered. Please run the standalone version to register.

It IS registered and it's version 1.2.0.012.

Anyone have any idea what this may be?

    Hi,

please check first that you do not run Nuendo in compatibility mode. Therefore right-click on the Nuendo.exe file and choose properties. Make sure that on the compatibility tab, the compatibility mode checkbox is not ticked.

If this is not the issue, I still can imagine that you have a version conflict. I would do a file search for "Vokator" and see how many VST plugins are found. It might be that you use multiple Vstplugins folder in Nuendo or maybe Nuendo uses a different folder than you assume. This is a very often occurring problem on the PC which can also result in the phenomenon you see.

Hi Marius, and thanks for helping me out :)

I installed the latest versions of some of the VSTs in the Komplete 2 collection.
For some reason the vokator files was installed directly in the Vstplugins folder and all the others where they should be: in the Vstplugins\Native Instruments folder.

Thanks again for the tip that helped me out.
