since this has just been discontinued I bet there won't be a lot of discussion anymore but...

I want to use vokator to modulate my guitar. Does anyone have any tips or ticks that will help me achieve a better sound? Do only certain guitar sounds work well with this?

    Hi!

I did this quite a while ago and it was pretty cool - but I have not done it in a while and don't remember exactly how I had it set up. I'll see if I can find my earlier patches and notes on using the two together.

One thing I found was that it was much more effective the higher the harmonic content - for example - distortion. Also - background noise or system hiss can help too. It really depends on what you are looking for.

I also played around with Spektral Delay as well back then - that was pretty fun from what I remember.

I was really hoping that they would have tried to include versions of both these plugins in Guitar Rig 3... I'm a little disappointed in what they did there - and also with discontinuing both Spektral and Vokator...

    Oh well..
