    Hello,

in the Readme you will find a description how to use Vokator with Logic. Its a bit complicated with Logic to send MIDI to an effect, and thats what you need to do. In brief: Vokator must be used in an I/O slot of an instrument. Logic will give in the plug-in window at the top the side chain option (note: this option is not available at all in Logic Express). Via sidechain you have to route the live audio coming from external into Vokator.

Hi, OK, this works quite nice, BUT: How can I do the Thing I originally wanted: to choose two different live Inputs? So that I can f.e. modulate my recorded Vocals with the Absynth f.e.? Or to let my Battery L/R Output modulate the Atmosphere Pads f.e.? I do not want to Bounce the Drums (in this example) and put them into the File Player... You know what I mean?

Is this possible? It should be, or not? But if I choose Live Input for Both Inputs A & B, it is always the same Signal (the one I chose as Sidechain Track / Bus)

How can I solve this Problem? Can I choose an independant, second Sidechain anywhere? Or must it be configurated in the Vokator itself?
I'm working with Logic 7 Pro.

    Thanks :)

    Hello,

only when the bus which is selected in the side chain tab is a stereo bus you can get into the plug-in two different signals. Therefore of course you must send the Vocals for example only to the left channel of this stereo bus (pan to left) and the Absynth only to the right channel of the stereo bus (pan to right).

I use to change the bus from mono to stereo in the Logic audio environment window. Click on the button below the peak level so that it shows two circles instead of one. Then this bus becomes a stereo bus.

Thank You, now it works :)

In fact this is a little complicated... if You want to vocate a Voice only sometimes in a Track, You have to do a lot of Automation Work, but it's also very flexible...

Well ok I'm away vocoding hehe
thank You again and yes I also used the online support, sorry... didn't know how fast both answers would come!
