Volume Drop?

    Yesterday I had this thing pounding and it was loud. Now its either quiet or distorting.

    I haven't touched the volume on my monitors in a very long time. The Windows volume it all the way up, and the meter in Maschine is peaking.

    I even loaded another project to rule out some setting getting jacked up, but that is low too.

    Where should I look?

    Have you tried other audio ie songs on your computer to rule out that its a maschine problem?

    Yes...sort of.

    Here is the update...

    After posting I was a bit upset so I shut down my computer. The windows shutdown sound was very low. I got to thinking it could be my AudioFire dying because it was low in both the speakers and the headphone out.

    Well I started it up and now everything is back to normal now. Who knows what it was. I hate when things fix themselves without me finding the cause, but I don't really feel like buying a new audio interface.
