Maschine 2.0 volume faders, pan pots and individual sound volumes within a group are linked.

On the mixer when I move 1 fader they all move. How do you un-link them? Please help I need to get back to mixing this track ASAP!

you probably have them all highlighted.

click on the header of one and only one.

if the rest do not deselect then try using a command function or option clicking the tracks you do not want highlighted

Or you're mixing the groups rather than sounds.

kompletemail you were right, all the groups were highlighted. Clicking one header is what I'd been trying but that didn't work.

In the end I used shift+click 1 group header, that deselects the rest of the groups and just highlights the 1.

Sorry for the stupid thread, hopefully this will help somone else too. Thanks for the suggestions kompletemail and gearn00b!

Not stupid at all. Multiselecting is new and this tripped me up for a while at first too. I expected clicking/selecting just one sound/group/whatever would select only that element, deselecting all others, as would be consistent with typical OS file behaviour. Alas, as you have found, shift must also be used to deselect all other elements, which is, to me, annoying.

Sorry i cant speak german, but the problem is:
Within a group if all sounds (pads) are selected, when you move a knob, all the knobs move (in that group of course.)
You should select only one pad. To do this shift+click on that pad.
    Hope it's clear now.
