    Hi everyone,

I heard the EP samples. It sounds good. I have a question before buying it: does it work with W98? I read the requirements but I was wondering if I can use EP anyway, since I work with W98.

    Thanks

I just bought it a few weeks ago, and trust me, you will need XP and you'll need some good RAM to make it work properly. I just upgraded my PC to almost a GIG of RAM and it STILL pops and crackles if I really play too many notes or hold down the damper pedal too long. It sounds amazing though... Unreal!! Well... REAL actually... !!
I'm thinking of taking my vintage Wurli back home where it's safe. I'd rather use the Plug in and get great sounds than leave my nice-looking Vintage piano lying around the studio!

You'll need a PIII or something at least 1.2GHz. I have an Athlon and am using Nuendo as the plug in source. It works fine.

Yeah.. Im thinking of building a complete new system for this plugin and use the comp just for Elektrik piano. Ive try to run it on an Armada E500 700mhz, 256mb ram (laptop wich is very good and stable for me! very reliable) and the E Piano wont even load it samples!! Out of ram, it says.. Though thats normal as I can hold only 250megs of ram and one Mk1 bank beeing more the 500megs..

You can build systems very cheap these days, put in enough ram, a good soundcard a small screen a mouse and a keyboard, run the pc thru a good tube and maybe some fx and you got yourself a nice Rhodes!
